TROMSØ POLAR NIGHTS
The Gateway to the Arctic
Located 400km north of the Arctic Circle at 69˚N, the small city of Tromsø bills itself as Norway's gateway to the Arctic, and there's definitely more than a hint of polar atmosphere around town. Tromsø is the city of adventures and adventurers, and the place where your arctic adventure begins!
DAY 1 WELCOME TO TROMSØ
Arrival in Tromsø, the Arctic Capital!
Located at 69 degrees north - Tromsø is 320 km above the Arctic Circle. Visitors are amazed when they discover that this city has hotels with international standard, lively cafes, world class seafood restaurants, an active cultural life, an exciting nightlife, museums and captivating art galleries.
Find your way to a hotel (transfer by a shuttle bus can be pre-booked in advance).
Overnight in the Quality Saga Hotel or similar (B)
DAY 3 CABLE CAR & THE NORTHERN LIGHTS HUNT
Breakfast in the hotel
Day at leisure to choose from many optional activities available
Evening transfer to the Fjellheisen Cable car, which will take you to the mountain ledge Storsteinen, just in few minutes (421m above sea level). Enjoy the spectacular panoramic views of Tromsø and the surrounding islands, and hopefully also the Aurora Borealis. Continue for the Northern Lights hunt for a short while also with your tour-escort.

DAY 2 THE ARCTIC CAPITAL + AURORA WITH HUSKIES
Breakfast in the hotel
Gather at the reception of the hotel and your tour escort will take you for a short orientation tour of Tromsø. Based on your interest, you can visit several museums or enjoy the atmosphere of the city on your own.
Evening transfer to the Aurora Husky Camp. Upon arrival, you will be offered some additional clothing, to keep you warm and dry. Sit around the fire and while waiting for the northern lights to appear, enjoy the entertaining stories about the Northern Lights, Northern Norway and huskies. The highlight of the tour is yet to come, your meeting with 300 Alaskan huskies (please note the husky sledge ride is not included in this activity).
Light Dinner around the fire is included during the visit.
Return to Tromsø after the visit

DAY 4 TROMSØ ON YOUR OWN
