Norway is a country with innumerable rivers and powerful waterfalls, which have contributed to the great popularity of these regions.
DAY 1 ARRIVAL IN OSLO
On your arrival, meet & greet by your private driver and transfer to the hotel.

This vibrant city is surrounded by forests and the splendid Oslofjord. Stroll along the streets and explore the city of the royal family, as well as the main street Karl Johan with its many shops, bars and cafes.

DAY 2 OSLO - RINGEBU & LOM STAVE CHURCHES
Buffet breakfast at the hotel.
In the morning, meeting with your private driver and tour guide who will accompany you for the next six days. Guided tour (3 hours) of Oslo in the morning, including the following “must see”: Frogner Park, with all sculptural Vigeland, the museum of Viking ships, showing three original Viking Age ships, the Royal Palace, the City Hall and Akershus Fortress.
Around lunch time, departure towards Ringebu and photo stop to the Ringebu Stave Church (entrance not included). Christianity was introduced to Norway around 1000 AD, and in the years to follow some one thousand stave churches were built. Ringebu Stave Church dates back to around 1220, and is one of the country's 28 remaining buildings of its kind.

Continue in direction of Ottadalen (the valley of Otta) and stop for a picture to another famous stave church: Lom Stavirke (entrance not included). The impressive church dates back to 1158-59, confirmed through dendrochronological research. It is still the main church in Lom. The oldest part was built in Romanesque style.

DAY 3 LOM - GEIRANGERFJORD - ØYE

Drive to Geiranger, for a one-hour cruise on the Geirangerfjord – one of the narrowest and most impressive fjords in Norway.

You will spot many waterfalls and mountain farms along the way, which are on the UNESCO’s World Heritage List. Once arrived in Hellesylt, keep driving towards Øye, at the end of Norangsfjorden and check-in at Hotel Union Øye, one of Europe's most distinct hotels.
Since 1891, this hotel has been a place where visitors come to savour the good life and the tranquillity in magnificent surroundings.

DAY 4 DAYTRIP TO ÅLESUND
Buffet breakfast at the hotel.

Board the boat to Ålesund (departure 11:00 – arrival 12:30). You will cruise along the 35-km long Hjørundfjord, through unspoilt nature in a dramatic, rugged, varied and historically rich fjord landscape.
Arrival to Ålesund and time at disposal to discover this lovely small town by your own.
Ålesund's Art Nouveau architecture is known far and wide. The myriad of turrets, spires and beautiful ornamentation are like something from a fairytale.
After your visit, jump again on board your cruise back to Øye (departure 16:30 – arrival 18:00).

DAY 5 ØYE - BRIKSDAL & BØYABREEN GLACIER - MARIFJØRA

Your journey continues towards Stryn and Loen, then drive to Briksdal to see its glacier. Guests from all over the world come to visit this famous glacier arm set attractively between roaring waterfalls and high peaks. Briksdalsbreen is an arm of the great Jostedalsbreen Glacier, and located inside the Jostedalsbreen National Park. From 1200 meters the glacier plunges down into the beautiful Briksdalen Valley.
In the afternoon, depart for another glacier visit at Bøyabreen.
You can see Bøyabreen at quite close range from the main road in Fjærland, or admire it from the Brevasshytta restaurant, even closer to the ice. This is one of the most spectacular of the glacier branches. At the Brevasshytta café, you can sit by the big panorama windows and perhaps be lucky to see big blocks of ice crashing down. Continuation to Marifjøra.
Continue to Krakow where you will spend the night.

DAY 6 MARIFJØRA - SOGNEFJORD - SOLSTRAND
Breakfast at the hotel.
Today you will discover the King of the Norwegian Fjords: the Sognefjord.
The Sognefjord is the largest fjord in Norway and you will enjoy a 2h45 hours cruise on its calm waters, till its most famous arm, the Nærøyfjord. The latter is a UNESCO World Heritage Site because of its spectacular nature!

Arrival in Gudvangen and possibility to visit the local Viking Village (entrance not included).
​
Continuation through Stalheim and Oppheim valley and arrival in Solstrand in the late afternoon.
For over a hundred years, Solstrand's exquisite location outside Bergen, beautiful surroundings and magnificent views of Norway's fjords and mountains have captivated guests from all over the world.

DAY 7 DAYTRIP TO BERGEN
Buffet breakfast at the hotel.

Start your day on the road to Bergen, to discover the “Capital of the Fjords” on your own.
​
Once in Bergen, enjoy a 2 hours private city tour. Soak up the atmosphere of the old port, Bryggen, with its Hanseatic Quarter, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. If you take the funicular to the top of Mount Fløien, you can admire Bergen – the city of seven mountains – from above. We also suggest you to visit the house of the great composer Edvard Grieg or the Fantoft Stave Church.

Return to Solstrand after your visit.

DAY 8 DEPARTURE
Breakfast at the hotel.
Freetime in the morning before going to the airport. Return your rental car at the airport before leaving.
