TROMSØ - NARVIK - SVOLVÆR – TROMSØ
This program offers many opportunities to discover the beauty of winter in Northern Norway. A program with unique activities, created solely to offer you an unforgettable experience!

DAY 1 ARRIVAL TO TROMSØ
Welcome to Tromsø! Located at 69 degrees north - Tromsø is 320 km above the Arctic Circle. Visitors are amazed when they discover that this city has hotels with international standard, lively cafes, world class seafood restaurants, an active cultural life, an exciting nightlife, museums and captivating art galleries.
Transfer to a hotel on your own (possibility to book transfers).
Rest of the day at leisure.
Please remember to book optional activities with your tourleader upon arrival.

DAY 2 TROMSØ – NARVIK

Breakfast in the hotel.
Explore Tromsø region and discover the different immaculate landscapes and sometimes you will find yourself flowing between walls of snow!
You will visit today the northernmost zoo in the world, where you can meet the big predators of the Arctic: the lynx, wolf and wolverine ; but also more docile animals like elk, reindeer, musk ox, arctic fox.
Note : we can not guarantee all the animals above will come out to play, but if you are lucky you will see them ALL!
Continue to Narvik, the famous port city. Narvik is also known for its strategic location during the Second World War.

DAY 3 NARVIK - SVOLVÆR
Breakfast in the hotel.
Drive towards Sortland for a SAMI experience at a typical reindeer farm. You will have an opportunity to meet these majestic docile animals and meet with a reindeer herder. After lunch you will drive towards Svolvær through majestic landscapes and if the weather is right there will be plenty of photo opportunities along the road.
Arrival at the hotel and check in.
This evening you will head out on a northern light chase with you guide who will do their best to bring you to the perfect location to witness this fantastic phenomenon.
Note: This is a natural occurrence that we are unable to predict – our guides are trained to investigate and search out best location for viewing – which may include long drives out of the city/town, to find location with minimum light pollution. Even then we cannot guarantee this phenomenon.
Overnight in Thon Hotel Lofoten or similar
DAY 4 SVOLVÆR – SORTLAND – COASTAL VOYAGE
Breakfast in the hotel.
Today you will spend the day exploring the Lofoten Islands, which is a place of great beauty, dominated by towering snowy peaks that end in the sea. Separated from the mainland by the Vestfjord, the islands creates a chain of about 150 km from north to south between minor islands and bays.
You will use many bridges and ferries to discover this region. You will return to Stamsund early evening where you will embark on an overnight cruise from Stamsund to Tromsø at 19:30.
Overnight in INSIDE cabins onboard the Coastal Voyage.
DAY 5 TROMSØ
Breakfast on board the cruise – arrival in Tromsø at 14:15.
Rest of day you can spend at leisure exploring this beautiful city of Tromsø.
