AURORA BOREALIS & ARCTIC FLAVORS - LEVI LUXURY

Welcome to Levi, the biggest ski resort in Finland, located about a hundred kilometres north of the Arctic Circle. You will have every opportunity to enjoy the incredible landscapes offered by nature. Lapland is the perfect place to relax and at the same time live exciting moments by trying out various activities such as snowmobiling, reindeer safaris or dog sledding. A stay in Lapland will remain engraved in your memories for a long time. This program features 2 overnights in a 5* hotel and 3 overnights in Superior Aurora Cabins: log cabins for two persons with huge heated windows and glass ceilings above the beds, offering perfect views of the Northern sky and the surrounding nature. On evenings with clear skies the view from inside the Aurora Cabins becomes simply breathtaking. Millions of stars are lit in the sky and very often the Northern Lights appear in the sky as well.

DAY 1 ARRIVAL TO LAPLAND

DAY 2 LEVI

Breakfast at the hotel.

 

In the morning, enjoy a truly memorable private dog sledding experience! After receiving all necessary clothing, you will
depart to the husky farm by bus. This sporty husky safari takes you out into the Lappish wilderness with the eager dog teams. After the safari, enjoy hot berry juice while listening to stories about the husky dogs. Return to the safari club by bus.

DAY 3, 4, 5 LEVI - AURORA CABINS

In the late afternoon, transfer to the Aurora Cabins.
Here you will spend 4 days/3 nights that you can personalize with extra Optional Activities.
Your Aurora Cabin features huge glass windows and heated glass roofs making the cabins ideal for viewing the surrounding nature and the Northern sky. As the name indicates, they are situated in an ideal location for having the best possibility for seeing the amazing Northern Lights which are very often visible from September until April. This very original accommodation experience is topped off with delicious meals served in the rustic and atmospheric restaurant of the cabins resort. The chefs take a lot of pride in using a lot of local ingredients and recipes to delicious Arctic flavours.
Despite the ideal location of the cabins, at times the Northern Lights must be chased. Therefore, the highlight of this package is the Aurora
Chase. The chase takes place on the 2nd night of the cabins’ stay after dinner when the guests will join the chase organized by photography specialists from Arctic Frontier. They will take the guests to places where the greatest chances of seeing the Northern Lights are on the given night. During the Aurora Chase, the guests will learn to take their own photographs of the Northern Lights. The duration of the Aurora Chase is approx. 4–5 hours. High quality cameras and all other photography equipment is provided for the guests, including memory cards to keep and no prior photography experience is needed.

In the morning, private safari with snowmobiles to a reindeer farm (3 hours). Turn onto the snowmobile track and follow it through the snow-covered nature to a local reindeer farm. At the farm the reindeer owner has a carefully selected group of reindeer which he has trained for sledge-pulling. Sit snugly in the sleigh while the reindeer takes you for a 1km ride. Coffee or tea will be served at the farm. After the coffee break, you'll return back to the Safari Club House by snowmobile.

DAY 6 FAREWELL

Breakfast at the hotel.
 

Depends on the time of your flight, enjoy some extra optional activities.

Private transfer to Kittilä airport.
